Can i go to VN with green card and vietnamese visa.Green card expire on 10/18/07?

My Vietnamese passport will be expired on 6/6/07 so i cant use that? I 'll travel with my baby( 7 months?)

Is it a permanent green card? Cause from what I know, unless you get a real green card that looks like a credit card (kind of), you cant really travel anywhere.

You might need to see the Vietnamese Ambassador in the US to get a new passport.
