Wedding in Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon)?

Travel Info
I am British and my future wife is Vietnamese. We met in the USA and we are planning for the wedding reception in Ho Chi Minh City. Can anyone advise good or bad experiences or were you recommend to go to. Of course we would like a good experience, but our budget is low. Any advice or help you can give would be greatly appreciated.

Travel Tips
Congratulation to you, my son just had wedding in Vietnam, don't worry too much, everything is simple and good, our budget is low too, Choose any restaurant around BenThanh Market, also called - Cho Saigon - they will arrange and look after your party from A to Z, reasonable price

yes dont carry an M16 or say, de de mow?, congradulation to your marriege.tell your wife LAAHDAY MOW IT MEANS GIVE ME A KISS .
If your future wife has relatives in HCMC I would contact them and let them arrange most of the reception. They would know the most reasonable places. Pacific Beer Garden might be a good place to consider. Good tasting cheap beer and reasonably priced food and it is big in size. We did our wedding reception in Hue and it was still expensive outside the big city. Good luck, cheers.
Lions Beer next to the Caravelle Hotel , they even have private rooms.
Don't say "LAAHDAY MOW " like someone here suggested. That means Come here quik, not Give me a kiss. To ask your wife for a kiss, say "H么n anh 膽i".
These are my tips since I live in Vietnam: DON'T MAKE A VIDEO, BUY YOUR EXPENSIVE THINGS IN USA, AND GO TO THE WATER PARK ITS AWSOME!
