Travel Info Have you been to Vietnam and do you like it? Travel Tips I'm here in Saigon for 3 weeks now and really love the city. Xmas celebration is really awesome here! Come on! Let's celebrate New Year here....! Cant want for a New Year celebration! Peoples here is really nice! Others i have ben there, it is an interesting place to visit I've been to Vietnam. I've only been to Ho Chi Minh City and the Vietnam/Cambodia border city of Chau Duc. I loved Vietnam! It is a really pretty country. Although it is quite poor all over, however, you won't be able to tell this from the friendliness of the people and how nice they are to you. The best part of Vietnam is the money! With 1 U.S. dollar being almost equal to 16,000 Viet Dong, you'll be a millionaire (in Viet dollars of course.) OK, no joking about their money but go visit the country; you will love it! My trip Oh Yes. The people are friendly. The hotels are comfortable and the shopping and food are great. Chose the right people to travel with -- people who want to experience a different culture and appreciate a different world. Otherwise you will be disappointed because not all Asian countries are first world standards. I like Vietnam so much that I have travelled there 5 time in the last 10 years. Each year it is more beautiful and fun to visit. So many gorgeous sites to see. The food is good and reasonable, Bia Hoi Hanoi is delicious and the people so friendly. We will be there again this summer for a month. I very much recommend that you have a holiday there. I've been there for 14 years. Wonder why? I'm a Vietnamese! |
