Ho Chi Min City Best to do and also Beaches near by? |
Travel Info I am taking a trip to Ho Chi Min City for five days at New Years and I am looking for some recommendations for things to do and see in the city, near the city and also for recommendations as to which of the near by beaches is best and whether we should spend the night when we go out to the beach? If we spend a night at the beach can anyone recommend a place to stay? Travel Tips U can go to M农i N茅,Phan Thi岷縯 for enjoying beaches.U can take an open tour from Ph岷 Ng农 L茫o street to the beach, plenty imformation from open tour agency in Ph岷 Ng农 L茫o street.Enjoy! Others Ben Thanh Market for some cheap shopping, Cu Chi tunnels (Viet Cong tunnel system during the Vietnam war). Best beach is in Nha Trang (but it is about 500 km from Saigon). Best check with a tour agent when you arrive in HCMC, they can be found everywhere in district 1. its SAI GON, get it right. ahhhhhhhhh. Welcome to Ho Chi Minh city. Five days at New Year, i think u have a lot of time to visit and do much things here. However if u want to spend a nite at the beach, it take u about 2 hour to come back HCMC, cuz the beach is rather far from here. U can visit VungTau ( this city has some beautiful beach ) in one day, then come back to HCM city. U can go there by car , motobike or ship. have a nice trip Well, for indoor entertainment, you can go to District 1. For cheap shopping you can go to Benthanh Market, or some other market, you can bargain if you want, cause sometimes ppl expect foreigner to pay more, but they're pretty friendly. If you want to find brandname stuff like Louis Vuitton, you can find it in those big shopping mall like Diamond Plaza...(i forgot where it is in HCM city). Beaches, Vung Tau is nearby, but Nha Trang is the best, ppl here are really nice. OOps, forgot to tell you something fun, Due to booming traveling and tourist in vietnam, especially HCM city, you can find some poor kids there who selling stuffs on the street, some of them may speak 3 to 4 languages, Pretty amazing hah!! ^^ after you enjoy everything in Saigon, I suggest you should go to VUNG TAU, nearest, safest, cheapest , most famous, most interesting beach in Vietnam, I wish I could go with you!!!!!! |
