I am going to Vietnam next week could someone please tell me if this is low season for booking any hotel? |
Travel Info We plan to go next week and we shall be staying at the Lan Lan 2 hotel. This is next to the markets. Is this a good hotel to stay for two days until we move on or can someone sugest to me a better place to stay. We just plan to pitch up there and hope there is vacancies available. Is this a smart thing to do?????? Travel Tips The Lan Lan 2 Hotel is a 3-star hotel located on a surprisingly quiet small street (called Thu Khoa Huan) in the middle of the city. Not only is it close to the Ben Thanh Market but also to Reunification Hall (the former Independence Palace, the home of the presidents of the now-defunct South Vietnam and a must see tourist stop). The facilities at this hotel are very good, especially for the very reasonable rates. The Lan Lan 2 is also near the New World Hotel, a much more expensive place (but still just under US$ 150/night), where President Clinton stayed during his state visit in 2000 and where President Bush stayed during his just last November. You may wish to look around for other hotels while you were there but there is really nothing wrong with the Lan Lan 2. Ho Chi Minh city or Ha Noi, Nha Trang, Hoi An? I think it's not difficult to find a hotel here. ya u can do it Have a nice trip It's not low season, but there's plenty of last minute vacancies all over. You can sometimes get them cheaper locally, but have to waste time sorting it out. But any cheaper and you'd be staying for free ... so what's more valuable your time or the hotel prices :) .
