Smoking in Vietnam?

its dangerous to smoke anything anywhere. dangerous to your physical , mental , and social well being i know thats not what your asking and i'm certain its not what you want to hear but it could not be more true....... and you know it.

Stop smokin' weed.

Generally, If you are just smoking, You are not going to get into any trouble. I see people smoking in bars every once and awhile. If you are just circumspect you shouldn't have a problem. don't deal under any circumstance!!! It is still a communist country and they pretty much know everything that is going on. Believe it.
Cambodia is another thing. I have sat with the owners of a hotel on their balcony, watching the sunset with 30 people smoking ganja and Opium. No problem. Personally, i don't smoke anymore. Guess I out grew it.

You've come across one of the dichotomies of Vietnam's laws. Vietnam has very strict drug laws regarding dealing or trafficking, however usage is not as restricted or at least not well enforced.

Smoking ganja in Vietnam is not really as it appears from Vietnam War movies or stories. Most of the Vietnamese natives live impeccably clean lives. However, it's there like it is everywhere else in the world.

The natives smoke some marijuana, but mostly opium because it's much more prevalent there. They don't roll joints, but use a bong (for lack of a better translation) that is usually a very nice piece of carved wood or ceramic art. They smoke whatever they have right in front of their houses or at a gathering place of friends seemingly without worry of the police or being caught.

You absolutely do not want to deal or traffic ganja, pot, opium or even aspirin if it's illegal in Vietnam. Their laws are very strict about that stuff. An Australian got caught with bags of opium that he ingested in an attempt to smuggle it out of the country. He went directly to prison, he will not have a trial and he will probably be executed. I hope I get my point across about this.
you seem to like to ask a lot of stupid questions, why is that? must be an immature adult or a kid with no parent supervison.
