Do I need a passport to fly to the Virgin Islands?

Travel Tips
Are you an 'American citizen? If you are, you can fly to the U.S. Virgin Islands without a passport because they are part of the United States. You will need a pssport if you want to go to the British Virgin Islands. If you are a citizen of the United Kingdom, then the reverse is true. See the website below to read the passport regulations for U.S. citizens....and another thing...passports are now taking about 16 weeks...and about 4 weeks for expedited service. From the US - yes. Better apply soon - it took me 9 weeks to get mine recently
That is correct. If you live in the US you do not need a passport to travel to the US virgin Islands.
