Can you believe how rude virgin islanders are? |
Travel Info They depend on tourism yet they treat tourists like $hit and tourists still keep coming back what a shame. Travel Tips I must admit that tourists are indeed horrible. Some treat islanders as nobodys. I have often wondered what brings about that behavior. You see when anyone visits a foreign country they need to learn that the lifestyle is different. Caribbean people greet each other when they pass by and they expect the same from the visitors. May times when islanders attempt to be friendly they are brushed off like they are nobodys so that may explain some of their behaviors. I do understand that everyone has their own personalities and respond differently. Tyra there are two sides to every story. Others What's the question here? You may very have well come across one individual who had a bad day and took it out on you. The fact of the matter is that some tourist believe that when they visit the islands the locals are at their every call. This is not so. Yes the people are generally friendly but in return they would like to be respected. I'm not from the VI but I'm from a Caribbean island.
