Charlotte Amalie is the shopping meca of the Caribbean. If you're looking for souveniers, liquor, jewelry, etc. You're best bet is to purchase it here. If shopping's not your thing then grab your swimsuit and take a cab north to Magen's Bay Beach. Definitely one of the top 5 swimming beaches in the Caribbean.

I lived there for two years if you want shopping do Charlotte Amalie. If you want a tour of the island they have one that does Megans Bay Beach and all the overlooks. If you want laid back romantic island time go to St. John for the day
