When is the best time to go on a romantic vacation to the Carribeans? |
Travel Info I want to go on a romantic vaaction to one of the Carribean Islands. I'm not sure what time of year I should make my reservation. Travel Tips From my experience, even when it is raining (as it was in October when in Negril, Jamaica), it was still very romantic and beautiful!! I would say find a time you both want to go and can afford, and maybe look at the Weather Almanac for your destination to minimize the possibility of weather problems (or hurricanes). Other Travel Tips Depending on where you live, it might be nice to escape the winter weather at home for the warm sun of the Caribbean. I just returned from a trip to Jamaica, and the weather was fantastic. Not too hot or too humid. It was also not overly crowded. Our cab driver told me that winter was the best time to come. It can be very hot in summer (and there are a lot more kids and teens around), and you'd probably want to avoid hurricane season (which, I believe is July-Sept, but don't quote me on that.) Depends !! Are you looking to lay in the sun without and bunch of College Spring Breakers around you DRUNK ...I would say if your looking for a party anywhere in MEXICO OR THE ISLANDS go in MARCH if not pick other months , I was in CANCUN MEXICO 2 years in a row ! and it was MARCH, 700,000 College kid's at let me tell ya it was a not stop party !!!
