Travel Info How big is the island of St John in the U.S. Virgin Island's ? Travel Tips Big enough to have a wonderful vacation on ! I've been there 3 times and enjoy the fact it is alot less commercialized than her sister island, St.Thomas. The charm of the island can be best found in Cruz Bay. A wonderful area filled with quirky shops and eateries. You can visit Trunk Bay ( be aware there is a service charge to enter the beach) or take a ride around the island and photograph the beautiful scenery. There is no airport on St. John but you can reach the island by ferry from Red Hook on St. Thomas into Cruz Bay marina. A quick ride ! Others bigger then Charity Island 8 miles long, couple wide, 60% national park, beautiful beaches and snorkeling, laid back |
