What's the weather on the island of Saint John in mid July? |
Travel Info My granddaughter wants to get married there, and I told her that July was sticky and hot, swarming with bugs. Am I mistaken? Travel Tips St. John and the other Virgins (St. Croix, St. Thomas) have tropical weather all year long. In July it's about 85-95 in the mid-day, with humidity around 80% offset by 8-12 mile per hour tradewinds. Bugs can be a problem year round especially after rain, if its dry, then bugs are not a problem. Winds come from the East, so if you are staying on the east side you will not be bothered by bugs because of the tradewinds I mentioned earlier. Winter is only a little bit cooler, 78-85 mid day. Source(s): experience Other Travel Tips Always warm there. Not as many "bugs" as you may think. Great place to marry. July is hot but always a breeze from the tradewinds. |
