As the other answer said, you can go to Alaska for a really beautiful trip if you like cold weather. Hawaii, the Caribbean, etc. are all great if you like warm weather. As for what line, this really depends on what you are looking for. Carnival is an entry level line and offers the lowest rates. Royal Caribbean and Norweigan are a little more costly, but the price difference is well worth it. You can then go to something like Celebrity, one of my favorites, or Oceania, Crystal, Cunard, Holland, Princess, etc. They are all really great, it just depends on what you are looking for. Carnival is going to be a younger crowd with lots of parties and drinking. Something like Celebrity is going to be a more luxurious line with a slightly older crowd. I also think Disney is great. In my experience on the line, lots of people have gone without kids. It is a lot of fun, the staff is great, the food is really good and the shows are wonderful. Once you go on a Disney cruise you are somewhat spoiled. It is a great line and you are getting a very nice cruise for the cost.
