How can I get from St. Thomas to Jost Van Dyke? |
Travel Info I'm sure there is a ferry in Red Hook, but I'd like to find the schedules, prices, etc. Also, info on a ferry from St. Thomas to Virgin Gorda? Any info is appreciated! Travel Tips There are ferries from Roadtown,Tortola to Van Dyke. Also There is a ferry from the St Thomas waterfront(across from the Windward Holiday Inn) to Gorda(stops in Tortola for Immigration and Customs)..also if you wish to go to Gorda on a day that there is no direct ferry, you can go to Roadtown(Tortola) from St Thomas and take another ferry to Spanishtown(Gorda). There are 2 ferry companies, Smith's and Speedys. The British Virgin Island Tourist Office will mail you a free BVI Guide with the schedules. The ferry costs about $60.00 round trip from St Thomas to Gorda. Its a beautiful ride. Also, be careful not to go to West End, Tortola because its an expensive taxi ride to get to Roadtown where almost all of the ferries leave from.. Others Try this... http://www.vinow.com/general_usvi/interi... my family and i went on a one day cruise from st. john to jost van dyke and to other places. very fun. sorry i dont have the information but atleast now you know it can be done and that it's fun! :) see if you can stop at the willy t! its a boat that is docked and its a fun place to eat. :D |
