Are there bees in the Caribbean? |
Travel Info My husband and I are going on our honeymoon this saturday to San Juan, St Thomas, St Marten.... I am slightly allergic to bees, and do have an epi pen just in case. I was wondering if there are bees in those areas? And should I be taking it? And are you allowed to carry them on an airplane? Travel Tips Of course there are some! We have bees and wasps! Source(s): I'm from Guadeloupe, FWI. Other Travel Tips I am form San Juan and there are bees there although they are smaller than the giant things you have in the U.S. I have never been bitten in San Juan but more towards the beachy parts. also not sure about the epi pen but you can probably call the airline and ask. Yes. Check out these links. http://www.caribbeannetnews.com/cgi-scri... http://www.cbc.bb/content/view/1991/10... As for the epi pen, your doctor may have to give you a signed letter stating that you have an allergy and have to carry the epi pen. You will show that to the airport officials. once there are pollen there are bees , so they are every where how you expect the life cycle to go on. If the are out of control no it's very rare but you can look up on their local news... Enjoy your TRIP !!!! Lovely island.... yup there are bees i live in the Carribbean i think u should take it and who would take bees on a plane? i dont think u have to worry about them being on a plane There are bees in every Caribbean country. Where there are flowers there are bees. |
