Help me find the perfect vacation?

Travel Info
Hi I would like to go to the virgian islands. My idea of a great vacation is a nice beach with warm waters to swim in. A place where there isnt a bunch of people and an island feeling of realy geting away from the "rat race". Can anyone suggest a place to go.

Travel Tips
The US VI's are far too touristy and busy for me. The British Virgin Islands are probably what you are looking for in a vacation. Sebastian's on Tortolla is my first choice for a hotel in BVIs. Jost Van Dyke is my favorite Island. I've never stayed on the island (just on a sailboat in Great Harbour), but it is by far my favorite Virgin Island just to hang. Virgin Gorda is really nice. If you have the coin, Bitter End and Brias Creek are both world class accomdations. Source(s): www.sebastiansbvi.com

Other Travel Tips
Well why not go to the Virgin Islands? St Croix sounds like the place for you. St. Thomas is where most of my clients choose to go. There is actually a promotion going on. E-mail me your travel dates and I can get you a price?

If you decide the Virgin Islands aren't for you - go to Jamaica - Couples is the best all-inclusive, laid back, gorgeous option.

Good Luck.
come to the dominican republic ,,,specially to punta cana/bavaro area....the best beaches...water sports ...and all the hotels are all inclusive
If you want really laid back, go to St. John it is the least populated and least "touristy" of the US Virgin Islands.

St. John, St. Croix then St. Thomas in that order, from least populated to most populated. From least touristy to most touristy.

Personally, I like St. Croix the best.
I've been three times and will definately go back again.
There is a link below to the place I stayed each time. Granted they have added on but the location as well as the atmosphere is very laid back. They have a very nice cove type beach... where you can do some snorkeling.
Or you can take a day trip to Buck Island and do some serious snorkeling or scuba diving.

They use to have a library, not sure if they still do, onsite at the hotel. They have several hammocks right near the ocean. The rooms are only about 100-150 feet from the ocean so you can hear the waves as you fall asleep.

There are two towns on St. Croix, Christiansted and Frederiksted. Christiansted is the larger of the two.
There are several nice places to eat in both towns.

Christopher Columbus landed on St. Croix in 1493, if you are into history. There are several other historical sites on the island.

I've been to St. Thomas twice and while it would be nice to go back I wouldn't make a visit to just go there.

You could also go to the British Virgin Islands, which are even less populated then St. Thomas and St. Croix. Some are even smaller and less populated then St. John.

Tortola
Virgin Gorda
Jost Van Dyke
Anegada

I've been to the first three and would recommend those as well.

Wherever you end up, I hope you have fun!!
