Cool things to do in st. thomas? Antigua? Tortola? |
Travel Info We are taking a cruise to the Virgin Islands, Antigua, Tortola, San Juan and the Bahamas. The cruiseline offers all kinds of shore excursions but they're always expensive. Does anyone know of anything fun to do outside of the normal excursions? Travel Tips If you dive (or want to do a resort course), look up Austin at Dive Antigua (www.diveantigua.com). Wonderful instructor. Eli's EcoTour in Antigua is also a must-do. Cave-hiking is one of the highlights. Source(s): Did both. Other Travel Tips snorkling and bone fish on the fly i am from antigua so i can give you personal experience so the best things you can do is go on a boat ride to barbuda, go to club rush thats a hot spot, snorkeling, another good club is 24 karat or just spend the day on one of our lovely beaches you know we have 365 of them so you never have to go to the same one twice!!! enjoy ill be there soon dont do the shore excursions if you plan to snokel! ask a cab driver..tons at the ports (they will charge depending how many people are in the car about 4-5 dollars) to the beaches..they usually know good spots to snoke or shop in! st thomas beaches are fabulous (magens bay) i was not as impressed with antigua but did not do much there. hope this helps! the snorkeling and diving is incredible around the British virgin islands take the trip to Virgin Gorda and the baths its beautiful and the water is so clear you cant tell how deep it is.
