Trip to the U.S. Virgin Islands? |
Travel Info I want to plan a vacation to the U.S. Virgin Islands for my husband and I. We are looking for something quiet and peaceful with nice beaches and that is safe. We would like to go all-inclusive and spend between $2,000-$3,000. It has to be somewhere that doesn't require a passport, as my husband is overseas in Iraq and will not be able to get one in time for our vacation. I read about private cottages or something like that...can anyone give me info on something private or a really nice resort??? Travel Tips St. John is the most beautiful Island of the US Virgin Islands. The only resort on the Island is The Westin. The beachs are uncrowded and the water is crystal clear. It is very safe there as well, my wife and I have vacationed there several times in the last 5 years and we love it. We have never been to such a safe place and we have traveled to several locations-Jamaica, Mexico, Bahamas, Aruba,Bermuda, St. Thomas... St. John is the best. Others As long as you're both US citizens, then I thought you don't need a passport for the U.S. Virgin Islands?? St John is quiet and peaceful with nice beaches and no hustle, bustle or bums! Check packages for St. John... when I was there in the 70's you could only get there by a little ferry. Enjoy. There are not only one resort in St. John. There are three resorts and tons of cottages and villas and whatnot. St. John is lovely and the other islands are just a ferry ride away. |
