Three days in Baltimore. What to do? |
Travel Info I'm going to be in Baltimore in March and have three extra days. Male in his 40's. Not looking to party .. Looking for some good sightseeing. Travel Tips 1. National Aquarium in Baltimore 2. Maryland Science Center 3. Port Discovery 4. Baltimore Museum of Industry 5. Baltimore Museum of Art 6. Edgar Allan Poe House and Museum 7. Fort McHenry National Monument and Historic Shrine 8. Oriole Park at Camden Yards 9.Walters Art Museum (The) 10. World Trade Center (NOT the one in new york, its a tour.) Also the maryland zoo is amazing! restraunts in baltimore 1. cheesecake factory 2. Hard Rock Cafe 3.Oceanaire Seafood 4.Phillips Harborplace 5. Captain James Landing & Crab House There is alot more restraunts but those are my 5 favorites! Source(s): I live near baltimore, so i go there all the time! Other Travel Tips Make sure you check out the Inner Harbor--there's lots to do: Baltimore Aquarium is there MD Science Museum is too Lots of shops and restaurants Top of the World Observation Level has great views Take a water taxi... The Inner Harbor has some good sightseeing, but if you have transportation take a quick trip down I-95 to Washington D.C. There you have the Smithsonian's plus all of the monuments! If you are into sports they have the babe ruth musuem and also the espn zone is down the inn harbor. One of your days should be out of Baltimore. You can see everything worth wild to see in a day or 2. Go to Annapolis (35-40 min) a lot to see in Annapolis. Walters Art Gallery. Catch a Musical at Hippodrome or a play at Center Stage. 1 hour south to DC. 1-1/2 hours northwest to Gettysburg. Horse racing at Laurel Park. |
