Yes. I grew up there and moved away. The people in Washington DC are NOT pleasant.

Actually, most of those living within Washington DC are black and low-income. Not usually the kind of people referred to as snobs. Anyway, isn't that a leading question that tries to stereotype the population of a whole city? I grew up in the Maryland suburbs and currently live in the Virginia suburbs and find my neighbors to be down to earth for the most part just like anywhere else in the USA.
