Good latin dance clubs in DC? |
Travel Info Hello. I am going down to DC this weekend. Wanted to know if there are good latin clubs (where young people go). I like dancing reggaeton, merengue etc. I am a 22 year old male, if that helps. Travel Tips Your best bet on Friday is H20 located on Maine Avenue. They usually have live concerts and they have three dance floors. One is the reggae room, the other is the hip hop room, the other is the latin room. They have one small room that plays a lot of pop music. On Saturday is Avenue, located on New York avenue. They have three dance floors. The first one is old school, the second one is latin and the third one is hip hop/r&b. Its got the crowd your looking for, although its not like a true dance club. You'll find many people dancing but at the same time you'll find many people just watching as well. All in all the best latin club you'll find in DC. A lot of the others really just stick to salsa and every once in a while might play some merengue. Many of the clubs in DC have a thing against playing reggaeton, but Avenue doesn't.
