Travel Tips
tge Metro is probably the most cost efficient way. there is very little parking along the Mall and the Metro has stops all along.

Others
i drive. i walk if i can but that almost never happens.
You left out biking, which is a fairly common means of transportation. There are also long-distance trains, airplanes, and ships.
metro or biking downtown. Stay at the Holiday Inn Capitol if you are visiting soon. Real close to all the good stuff
short distances walking
long distances metro or taxi----but i advice taking the metro because it saves you MONEY

:D
Depends on where you want to go. If you want to go downtown to see the sights then get on the trolley or one of those little amphibious duck things. If you go to S.E. or N.E. I suggest you a cab or catch the bus ($1.25) or train ($1.35 2 ways $2.70)
