What are some fun things to do in DC and how is the weather? |
Travel Info Im flying to DC early Tuesday morning for an interview Wed and Im staying until Thurs. Me and my best friend are going. Any suggestions on things to do, see, places to eat, shop? And whats the weather like? Thanks in advance:) Travel Tips as for weather, it's going to be partly cloudy all three days you'll be there with the highs in the high forties and low fifties. things to do? depends on what sorts of things you like. I used to like going to the mall (and I mean the big strip of land in the center of town with the capital, etc) and walking around to the museums. there are lots of them. There's the national portrait gallery, the museum of modern art, the smithsonian and the air and space museum (though all of those aren't on the mall). For such a short time I would not recommend the holocaust museum both because I wouldn't exactly describe it as 'fun' (though it's an incredible learning experience that everyone should do) and because it takes at least a full day to do, minimum. The trick to enjoying DC is to NOT DRIVE. take the metro, it's easy and clean and goes everywhere you'll want to go. Places to eat and shop, go to Georgetown. take care. Others Weather is like around 50ish this time of year. There are a lot of museums that are very very interesting and fun |
