Why aren't there any head shops in DC?

Travel Info
I refuse to believe there's not a demand

Travel Tips
Electromaxx in Georgetown is long gone. That was a wild place, indeed.

Forget about demand. Federal, state, and urban lawmakers are simply eliminating the supply. There has been a strong tightening of paraphernalia laws throughout the country, especially in urban areas like DC.

According to NORML, the DC law reads "The sale of paraphernalia is punishable by up to six months in jail and a fine of up to $1,000." That'll take a bite out of the marketplace.

FYI: Baltimore has two potential outlets for tobacco smoking accessories:

Doc's Tobacco Products & Accessories (18+, enforced)
3721 Eastern Avenue 410-327-3676

Just across the street is a place called Firefly that may prove useful as well.

Firefly
3716 Eastern Avenue 410-732-1232

Others
The Senators and Congressmen buy their bongs and papers in thier home districts.
In Georgetown, a section of DC, there use to (maybe its still there) call Electromax. They were (are) on M st.
