Ocean city maryland?

Travel Info
when in the summer is the best time to visit ocean city?

Travel Tips
It all depends, in June, high school seniors (june bugs) basically run the town. Wildness & alcohol is there calling card. In july, ocean city gets an influx of families with younger children. But if you have kids, i would suggest late August. The weather is still beautiful & you probably won't have to deal with college kids and crazy teens because they will all be back in school....

I love that town! Best times depend on what you're looking for... crowds and people watching or peace and quiet.

August is the best time to go if you like crowds and being part of the fun and partys.

Middle September to October is when the town is mostly quiet but still active but a little cooler weather.

Hope that helps. Have fun!
Ocean City, Maryland gets crowded starting Memorial Day, and stays that way until Labor Day. If you can take time off during the week, I would go then and come home before the weekend.
I vote for July. August is really crowded and June is packed with recently graduated high school seniors partying it up - its a regional thing down there to go there after graduation. The 4th of July is packed with festivities too

Make sure to check out Satellite - its is the 40'sor50'si think near the convention center - great coffee and breakfasts - small and quiet, friendly and good food too

The Shark (formerly Fins) is a great outdoor - in- the- sand restaurant. live music, right on the bay, good drinks and food (its in the 30's or 40's)
Anytime in the summer is suitable, because between Memorial Day and Labor Day, it's always going to be crowded. The great thing about August is the ocean water is warmer because it's been heating up all summer. Even in September!
If your relatively young and/or have children........from Memorial day til Labor day!
As everyone has basically said, between Memorial Day and Labor Day is peak season.

While there, be sure to go to The Bonfire for dinner buffet. AT $26 (I think) it is expensive, but well worth it. All you can eat crab legs, shrimp, prime rib, pork loin, roast beef, ribs, chicken, several kinds of fish, oysters and clams on the half-shell, salad, desert, soups/chowders, corn on the cob, pasta, and on and on and on.

VERY worth it and only a block from the ocean on 71st and Coastal Highway (Rt. 1).

Be sure to get a reservation or you'll have to wait for up to 45 minutes.
