Travel Info Is it really big? How long does it take? All day? A few hours ect? Travel Tips The aquarium in Washington DC is very small and not much there. Stuck in as an add on in a government building. The National Aquarium is actually in Baltimore MD on the waterfront and it does take a day to get there, see everything and get back to Washington. If it is hot and summertime the lines will be so long, you will think you will never get in. I had accidental luck the last time I went as we had a friend in a wheelchair with us. A park Ranger came out and got us out of line and whisked us through a private entrance immediately. I was surprised at this consideration as I had never seen it anywhere else. It is worth seeing but San Deigo, Boston, and a few other I have seen are much better. Others The National Aquarium is in Baltimore. It is wonderful but also extremely crowded. There is an aquarium in the Dept of Commerce Bldg in Washington DC but it is very, very small and not worth seeing. No I haven't. I have been to the National Aquarium in Baltimore and it great! |
