Where is the nicest place to stay for 2 Miami girls looking for a nice apartment in or near Colleg Park, MD? |
Travel Info An internship at the University of Maryland has my best friend looking for an apartment in or near College Park, MD for under $900/mo. What are the nicest places (most amenities or the cutest)? Is that a realistic price for a 1bd or a studio? And where should we stay when we come to look in June? Any nice bed and breakfast hotels? Travel Tips I don't know too much about College Park apartments, but if you need to be able to get to UMaryland, I would call the university directly for suggestions. They know many students live off campus and they might know reasonably priced ones that will have transportation to the university. Unless you have a car, you pretty much have to rely on buses to get you in and around College Park. Another good website to use is www.apartmentratings.com You can search by city, and people who've lived in the buildings will grade it based on several criteria. Be warned though, a lot of places have a lower rating than they should since only the people with problems will post. Check out any you're interested in for yourself. As for a hotel, I like the Holiday Inn in Greenbelt, MD. Very clean, safe, great staff! |
