Travel Info When can I see the cherry blossoms in Washington DC? Travel Tips Drove by there today, and they are blooming now! Others The first week or two in April. The festival is the first week of April...you can probably see them in bloom in late March and avoid the crowds! In the springtime... my favorite time of year :-) This year they're predicting the blooming period to be April 1-12. http://www.nationalcherryblossomfestival... I got there for a summer program on Memorial day and they were completely gone. I'd say April, give or take a week or 2 depending on how the winter has gone (early spring or not). March is probably too early. The flowers will probably start coming out in early April. I think next week or the week after would be a good time to go. |
