Travel Info I've lived in hawaii all my life, but this summer we're moving to DC...is there anyway i can get out of it?! Travel Tips Bad break kid, but here's some advice: 1) I've lived in the Baltimore/DC area pretty much my whole life. It's not so bad really. Demographics around DC are mostly affluent and educated. 2) Life is going to throw some disappointments at you. The sooner you get some skills at overcoming adversity, the better off you'll be over your entire life. 3) You can always find a good therapist in 20 or so years and blame everything on your parents. Good luck. Others 1. Cry and scream and all those good stuff 2. Chain ur self to something 3. Suck it up and live with it AFTER D.C. YOU CAN RETURN AGAIN AND LIVE HAPPILY EVERAFTER. LIFE SHOULDNT BE ONE BIG VACATION. WE HAVE TO TRAIN FOR JOBS AND SUPPORT OURSELVES AND FAMILY ETC. You could try getting arrested. ( That was a joke please don't) If your not 18 yet Suck it up is about the best advise and get a job back there when you turn 18. If you are over 18 just get a job and find your own place Well, first of all, which high school are you going to, and are you moving to DC, Virginia, or Maryland. Don't worry about it though. I've lived in Virginia (DC area) all my life. I like it, although a lot of people don't. We have some of the best schools in the country (my school is like number 164 or something). Anyway, I know it stinks. I wouldn't want to move either. But the people here are really nice (most of them anyway.) SO don't worry! Getting out of it?? Well, no advice there. Sorry. I wish I could give you something but o well. Sorry to give you my honest opinion, but I lived near D.C. for a year, and got out as fast I could. I hated it there, and most people (except for the ultra-rich snobs) hate it there, too. Personal Experience: take it for what it is. |
