How's the weather in Washington DC in late April usually? |
Travel Info I'm going on a trip there with my school on April 23- 28. Travel Tips It's very hot. That is if it's not storming. Typically by late April it's in the upper 70s. Very humid. (DC was built on swamp land.) Others Our weather has been weird lately but I would bet it should be in the low 70's during the day but it may drop and be cool in the evening. Have fun! 70'S usually some showers. lately the metro area has become very humid in recent years to be advised, it might feel like it's 90 degrees and usually evening showers. I would continue to check with the weather up until the time you leave to go to Washington. I have known it to be VERY hot, it the 90's, Also known it to be very humid, but normally it is the best weather of the year. Mid 70's during the day and 50's in the evening. You need to be aware you are going during the worst time of pollen. Most cars etc will have that yellow pollen over everything. I sure hope you guys have a great trip. Washington, DC is a great place to visit. You can come back many times and never see it all. google search it, its pretty nice , but can be rainy. Take a light jacket that waterproof and you should be fine. Check it out on weather channel .com The average temperature is in the 70s for a high, and 50s at night. It could get cool (sweater maybe, or light jacket, but definitely not a heavy coat). But it's also quite possible that it will be above average and could get quite hot and humid. And also rain unfortunately. |
