Air and space museum in D.C? |
Travel Info at the smithsonian air and space museum in washington dc, do they let you bring in video cameras? what cameras do they let you bring? Travel Tips Yes, you can. Just not in the Imax or Planetarium. Source(s): Used to work for Smithsonian Air and Space Other Travel Tips Teh did before 9:11 nothing there is a secret it is owned by the people so taping was cool. I dont know know witht he new security in place. i have been there;at that time;you could bring any camera at anytime you want to; now;i dont know;i would suggest;that you put the film in camera after you enter;they may want to check you out;you could stay at a motel;outside dc;take the bus into the dc area;they have cart trains that go around dc. Yes you can. People are downtown with video cameras all the time and they go in all the museums with them. i went to the a&s museum in july 05 and really enjoyed myself. it was my first time in dc. as for cameras, i know they let you bring in disposable flash cameras and camera phones but i dont think they allow video cameras. Yes, they do. I live fifteen minutes from DC, btw. But if you want to go to the air and space museum, I suggest you drive about twenty minutes out to Dulles Airport and see the new one, which is much nicer and much bigger. (The whole old one would fit inside of the main corridor of the new one) |
