Travel Info Which zoo is better the National Zoo or the Baltimore Zoo? Travel Tips The National Zoo is better. It is part of the Smithsonian and is huge. The pandas are the big draw. There is a new Asia Trail. Some of the buildings need renovating and it is all scheduled. It is also FREE. Others The National Zoo is one of the best in the country. AND it's free as well. The aquarium in Baltimore is pretty cool though, but the National Zoo is definitely better. I grew up in DC the National zoo is better, because it is better funded. However, the Maryland Zoo in Baltimore (as it is now known) is actually quite nice. I remember their beautiful polar bear exhibit. And, if you are looking for a good day trip, you can combine a trip to the Aquarium in Baltimore's Inner Harbour. Definitely National The National Zoo in D.C. without a doubt. The zoo in Baltimore pales in comparison. The national zoo is better. Its bigger plus its free, and in a good neighborhood. The bmore zoo is in the hood. |
