Travel Info What do you think about the Virginia Tech issue? Travel Tips Kind of, but I am also afraid of others, because it doesn't mean that a captain of a football team or head cheerleader wouldn't do that either. The scary thing is, you never know who it could be next. That's why I spend every day trying my best and making other people's day better because you never know. I had a best friend who was a happy, straight A, animal lover, and the day I found out that she had been cutting her wrists I was devastated. If THAT wasn't bad enough she started cutting her legs because her wrists were too noticeable. I am still afraid that she will corner me and beat me or kill me. Everyday I go to school knowing what could happen to me that day. She once told me while we were still friends that she was just going to come to school 1 day and kill us all including me. I told my mom because she is in the school system, but I am still afraid. You want to know why she hates me so much?!? Because as soon as I found out about it I told my mom to talk to her mom about it. So everyday I live in fear for possibly saving a life. This proves the point that it can happen to anyone. Others the same as emz s thinks..... ask her NOT ME!!! The kid didn't have mental issues, but he did what some people think all the time. He probabley processed all this then he went on his rampage. I totally think he did what he felt he had to do. He pretty much said "I'm going to hell so I might as well kill all the people I hate so they go with me." From what I get he hated them anyway. Cho Seung Hui is a complete idiot. Such a tragic event, I lift those families who lost their loved ones in prayer. Now what we really have to watch for is another incident. What irks me is that people want to blame this on video games and movies. That's not the issue here. You can go to Canada and other countries and see that they play the same games and watch the same movies,but the amount of gun crimes is so much lower. Even in very populated areas. Now we have alot of people clammering for more gun control. If there is another serious incident like this, look out. They'll be coming for all of our guns next. Yea im from this area...See my questions on this issue.... I think it's a good lesson to be learned for the upbringing of our children. Be nice to people, or your brains might end up on the floor of some classroom. Cho said it himself, "This didn't have to happen" People dismiss him as crazy. Like it takes a crazy person to demand respect from people...... |
