How much does lunch usually cost at the Smithsonian Museum cafeteria? |
Travel Info I will be taking a field trip to Washington DC with my school, and I am wondering how much to take for lunch. Thank you. Travel Tips Yeah, about $8 to $10 is right. The pizza is sold by the slice and it is a real big slice but costs $5.50. Soft drinks are $2. Salad is sold at 60 cents per ounce. Soup is $4 for a bowl. There are vendors outside selling hot dogs, half smokes, chips, and drinks for a lot less but some school groups have to stay together at all times. Others about $10 A whole LOT. bring at least 10$ a day for lunch. If you factor in about $8 per lunch, you should be OK for most places in DC...figure about $13 for dinner, and just don't go too nuts. You will have enough money and most likely some left over, but you will not be short. I've been to DC many times. Hi! We just got home from DC and at the Air and Space Museum they have a McDonalds...however it will cost you at least $10 for lunch. My son and I split a 10 piece nugget meal and my husband got a big mac and it cost us 15.00. The prices are high but the museums are free...I had to keep telling myself that.
