Hotels in DC area that are not books for the May 20th weekend? |
Travel Info Having no luck funding any hotels in city area of DC for the may 20th weekend... anyone have ideas where reasonable places are to stay ... something like 3 star around 150 a night? What about the outskirt of DC area? What area do you recomend staying in near DC that are pleasant, clean, safe, and easy to get to with shuttle or metro into the DC area. Travel Tips You will not find anything around $150.00 Per night unless you go the outskirts. If you stay on the Red Line (Metro) you can stay in Rockville, Gaithersburg for around that price or less. Anything from Bethesda down into D.C., Arlington or Alexandria is all out of your budget. Good luck! Others try some travel flight sites like -orbitz.com -expedia.com and search for hotel...choose your dates and star rating Try looking in Alexandria Va.. I like the embassy suites which is very nice and close to the metro. There are many other hotle sin the area, residence inn is also nice but a longer walk to the metro. maybe the savoy suites in georgetown hotels.com??? If not luck there, search hotels in Arlington VA, Rosslyn VA, Silver Spring, MD, Alexandria VA, all metro accessible to get into DC easily.
