Directions Smithsonian museum?

I went to the smithsonian web sit and i didnt see no information on how to get there it just gives you the bus infomation and i want to travel by car o yah it the d.c one

the smithsonian is a group of about 17 museums on the national mall and around dc. the majority are on the national mall. these include: the hirshorn, air and space, american history( which is closed for renovation for 2 yrs/ some exhibits on display at air and space), natural history, american indian, etc. etc.
the smithsonian castle is the visitors center and it is off of constitution ave.
