What to do in Williamsburg or Washington DC? |
Travel Info I'm going in a week and I was wondering what there is to do. What is the best stuff to see? Are there any good factory outlets near Williamsburg/ Washington? Travel Tips In Williamsburg you can visit colonial williamsburg or Busch Gardens (amusement park). They also have an outlet store, its ok not alot of stores though. DC is a major city so there are a ton of things you can do. You can visit the museums and historical sights, or go to a play or club. The shopping within dc isn't that great but there is alot of great shopping in the surrounding areas. As for outlet malls the biggest one in the area is potomac mills in VA. We also have arundel mills in MD. Both are indoor outlet malls. The closest outdoor outlets are leesburg, and hagerstown. Others There is a factory outlet just south of DC in Virginia. BUT- for the best time in DC, just pay for a 3 day pass for the tourist tram/bus and drive around - you can jump on/off at lots of great places and the ride is great.
