It is so charming and right on the water. Perfect getaway. and it is so accesible to air travel by flying to BWI I don't have a favorite, but the area around Harper's Ferry, WV is fantastic. The confluence of the Shenendoah and Potomac Rivers is a great recreation spot, and the water on a summer day is clear and bathtub warm, with some wonderful little rapids for playing in. We have a boat in Edgewater Maryland, and it is an easy trip on the bay to Annapolis, Solomon's, St. Michaels, Tighlman Island, Baltmore, etc., so I would say right where I am! |
