I am planning a trip to Six Flags Baltimore/Washington. Where is a good beach to visit nearby?

I am planning a trip to Six Flags Baltimore/Washington. Where is a good beach to visit nearby?

Travel Tips
Beaches on the ocean include Ocean City, Rehobeth, Bethany and Lewes, Delaware - they are about 2 and a half hours from the beltway. Beware that it can take much longer to get there for a weekend, as the trip requires driving on a bridge over the Chesapeake. If you're satisfied by a beach on the bay, Sandy Point State Park has a good one - a good family place, large beach, nice park. You might also check out Assateague and Chincoteague Islands.
Others
You could try looking in Calvert county (near Cakvert Cliffs State Park). Check out the the county's chamber of commerce website for links. You'd basically need to hop on 50 and take that east. Most decent beaches are on the Eastern shore, unfortunately.
If you're talking about a beach on the ocean, Ocean City, MD is the way to go. It's 2:15-2:30 from Six Flags by car.
