Can someone recommend a hotel, motel or B&B in Frederick MD that would be fit to spend one's wedding night

Travel Info
I want to be staying there a few days before the wedding, and then the wedding night. I want something Special, not just the Comfort Inn, etc.

Travel Tips
Well, you really don't have a lot of choices -- in fact, I didn't find any great 4 or 5 star hotels in the area.

Your best bet may be the Courtyard by Marriott: http://www.resideo.com/us/maryland/frede...

You can check rates and book online at the site.

Have fun...and congratulations!

Best thing to do is check for B & B's in the area then do a search for reviews of the ones that look interesting. I can only recommend the Atrium in Taneytown, MD. It is about 30min north of Frederick.

Good luck!
A co-worker got married and had her reception and wedding night at the Morningside Inn in Frederick. It had gorgeous scenery, but it seems a little pricey. http://www.morningside-inn.com/...

My friends had their reception and spent their wedding night at The Inn at Buckeystown, which is right off of 85. It was a beautiful place and you could just feel the history in the old Victorian house. http://www.innatbuckeystown.com/... It's also a slight less expensive if you don't have them prepare all your meals.

I have also been to a wedding at The Antrim (that is what Bryan is referring to) in Taneytown. My friend's sister got married there several years ago and it is gorgeous. They specifically got married there because my friend's mother's family used to own the mansion.
My wife and I have stayed at both Antrim and Inn at Buckeystown.

The Inn at Buckeystown is closer to Frederick.
The room we had there was larger than the room at Antrim (we had one of the smaller rooms Antrim has, it was on the uppermost floor and it was the dead of winter. It was very cold up in that room).

However, meals are much better at Antrim. The restaurant at Antrim is very highly rated by Zagat.

Congrats on the wedding and good luck!
