Where should we stay in Shenandoah National Park?

Travel Info
My husband and I (& 9 month old baby) want to take a short vacation in Shenandoah National Park. Since we have the baby with us, we want to be close to "nature trails" as opposed to real hikes. Also, we are coming from the North so we would prefer something in the Northern end of the park. Any suggestions as to where we should stay?

Travel Tips
With a baby, I'd stay at Skyland. Although its in the central portion, it's very conveniently located, has walking paths of its own, and you can always drive to the overlooks for views with baby. Skyland also has food and a small shop. I think it also would be more comfortable than Big Meadows Lodge or cabins. Source(s): Have been to Shenandoah hundreds of time, even when my son was a baby!
