Can you reserve parking at Dulles Airport?

Travel Info
I'm flying out to the UK next Friday, and I need to leave my car at Dulles Airport. I don't see anything on their website about reserved parking....do the lots ever totally fill up? (That is, am I in any danger of getting up there and not being able to find a place to park for the week? Or can you reserve a space ahead of time?)

Travel Tips
Dulles has many, many long-term parking lots (designated by colors -- Red, Green, Purple, Gold, etc.). Since the additional lots have been added, I've never seen the lot full -- not even at Thanksgiving. You'll have no problem. Source(s): Lived in VA for 9 years & always use Dulles.
Other Travel Tips
Hi I'm here in Reston VA about 10 min from Dulles. No they don't have reserved parking. And their long term lots usually don't fill up this time of year. If we were talking Thanksgiving or Christmas I'd be worried. But i drive passed the long terms lots daily and can see they are wide open.

I've never heard anything about being able to reserve parking in advance--I imagine that something like that would be difficult given the fact that you take a parking ticket as you enter into one of the lots. I would not worry at all about getting parking, however. I've been flying in and out of Dulles internationally for years and have never had any issues (other than the abysmal condition of the airport itself!). They have massive longterm economy lots over there.
You cannot reserve parking at Dulles. If you're flying out to UK. Try using the Economy lots. Out of those lots, it's the cheapest to pay for short to mid to long term parking ($9/day). I've never had any problems with anyone breaking into my car when leaving it there. The buses will pick you up from the bus stops and drop you off at the terminals (every 15-20 minutes).
I've never heard of them running out of parking. And they have two fairly new daily garages, where you can park under cover and walk to the terminal. It's a long walk, and it's $15/day, but you don't have to worry about the poor shuttle service to the econo-lots. And the walk is all covered. (Under the valet parking area in front of the main terminal).

I've had some experience where all the lots were full at BWI, but not only do they reduce pricing on the hourly garage, they make overflow parking available at those times. It's not like an airport would leave you without any options to park your car.

I'm not sure about 3rd party parking lots around Dulles. I've never seen any, but that would be a place where you could potentially reserve a space.
