You can take the Penn Line MARC Train from Union Station to Baltimore's Penn Station - that takes 30-50 minutes depending on which train you catch. If you do the math - you have to catch the first Metro train at Rockville at 5 AM to be at Baltimore's Penn Station by 6:30 AM. If you drive, traffic on I-270 and I-495 inner loop is relatively light. I-95 North is light and I-395 is light right through MLK Blvd. If you drive the speed limit and leave Rockville at 5:15 AM, you'll be at Baltimore's Penn Station by 6:05 AM - maybe 6:15 AM at the latest. Providing a more specific destination will provide you a more accurate time. {EDIT} The poster beneath me meant 198 rather than 108. Also, 198 intersects with I-95 without any need to take MD 216. Others have you looked into catching the train or greyhound as other options? You can actually drive there in about an hour at that time of the morning. Take 28 to 108 to 216 to 95. |
