Driving cross-country from Denver, Colorado, to Washington, D.C.? |
Travel Info Does anyone have tips on a good route to take for about 3 days total (breaking the drives into good 9-10 hour chunks)? Has anyone done this? Any advice would be much appreciated. Travel Tips Been there, done that. Try this - Denver to Kansas City, KS about 9 hours driving time. KC to Louisville about 8 .5 hours and then Louisville to DC about 9.5 hours. This is good road, goin through scenic horse country of KY and then through the mountains of WV too. Try gasbuddy.com for finding the cheapes gas along your route. Good luck and safe travel!
