How's the summer in D.C.? |
Travel Info I'm visiting for the week of 4th of July. A couple people told me it's very, very hot in the summer. I'm from San Antonio, and it's hard for me to believe I couldn't withstand a D.C. summer. It gets 100+ here all the time. Travel Tips Hi. That's my hometown. Rockville actually. The summers in DC and surrounding areas totally suck. I don't go home in the summertime. There are little bugs called gnats. They suck. Just light insence or a special candle and they wont' bother you. They are worse at night. It's very hot and humid and if you have straight hair, you won't after a summer night in DC! Hahaha...Just go places that have A/C because everyone has it there!!! But, enjoy!Hot, humid and busy with tourists. You don't have the humidity that DC has so be ready to be sticky. Yes it is very hot. Not 100's but 90's are a good possibility. If you are from San Antonio, you'll be able to handle it fine. Apart from being too hot, it's packed with tourists so you can hardly breathe in DC! Too much heat, humidity and people is a very bad combination to me. No thanks, been there once in August and even my popsicle was melting. I was just in washington dc and it was hot and humid. so in supper it will be very hot probably 90 or 100+ and very humid! its hot |
