Picking up a friend from Dulles Airport. Which lot should I use? |
Travel Info I'm picking up a friend tomorrow and I have never picked anyone up from an airport before. I have to inside and meet her so I'll need to park somewhere, does anyone know which parking lot would be the easiest? Travel Tips I usually take laps around Dulles Airport until 5-10 minutes after the flight lands. I try to time my trips to Dulles so that I do not take as many laps - even though the lot in front of the airport gives you 30 minutes for free. The cell phone parking area will likely work for you - but arrive about 5-10 minutes after your friend's flight lands to minimize idling. Others Just park in the short term lot. It is near the terminal, and easy to get in and out. Just follow signs for arrivals. The short term parking lot is right next to the arrival area and I think the first 30 min are free. To save money you can park in the cell phone waiting lot, its free, until you know she is there and then go to the short term lot to just run in and get her. |
