Southern-most station for DC's metro?

Travel Info
I've heard that the train goes into Virginia. Would be great to park and ride for upcoming trip. Thanks!

Travel Tips
Depending which direction you are coming from and how you are traveling (car or auto) would result in deciding which Metrorail stop best accomodates your travel plans:

(i) if coming from the south via automobile driving along I-95 from Richmond or further south, then Franconia-Springfield Mall on the BLUE LINE offers a big parking garage

The Huntington Metro Stop is accessible if coming up US Highway #1 or driving along I-495 Outer Loop towards but before Wilson Bridge. It too has parking but I believe Springfield Mall and depending on the day of the week you are visiting would impact which Metro Stop is best for your needs.

(ii) if coming from the West and I-81 then the Vienna Metrorail stop on the ORANGE LINE that runs parallel to I-66 is your best choice. It too has limited parking.
Others
Southern most station for the metro is in Northern Viriginia. Google metro DC and you will get a map.
Two southern-most stations are Huntington (Yellow Line) and Franconia-Springfield (Blue Line). Both stops are in Northern Virginia, and at least one (maybe both) are outside of the I-495 Beltway.
Franconia-Springfield is the Metro's Southernmost stop but there is nothing but highways and parking garages. You could take a bus to the nearby Springfield Mall.
