Once friends from out of town were visiting other good friends in the area and they stayed at HAWTHORNE SUITES that is part of the HYATT HOTEL chain located at 420 N. Van Dorn Street, Alexandria, Virginia 22304 Tel: (703) 370-1000. This hotel is located right off of I-395 Shirley Highway headed into downtown DC and maybe 5 miles from Pentagon City and Crystal City. It meets all of your requirements and has free parking, wireless internet and if you are a AAA member the daily rate for a 1 BedroomSuite I believe is $115. It also has a shuttle bus to the Van Dorn Metro (on Blue Line). In fact we recently came back from spring vacation in Orlando FL and we enjoyed our stay at Hawthorne Suites in Orlando FL. Enjoy Your Vacation! Others I believe that there are sme Econolodges, and Motel 6 motels in that area. Try going on the websites for those places. Worse case scenario, you may have to use the metrorail system to get to one. |
