This weekend in the DC area..... getaways.? |
Travel Info Sure it is Friday and we want to do something this weekend but it's last minute and everything seems to be booked especially since its Father's day weekend. We live in Leesburg so Virginia, DC or West Virginia are fine. Maryland would be a maybe. We are pretty flexible but were thinking to find a festival, a cool place to walk around, a place to stay that has a dining room, whatever.... so 2 people late 30s and early 40s and money is not a huge issue. Any ideas out there or a nice thing to do? Simple or not. Travel Tips I used to live in Leesburg. I would recommend the Inn at Perry Cabin in St. Michaels, MD. It is right on the Miles River and the food is fantastic. It is where the movie "The Wedding Crashers" was filmed. |
