Relocating to DC.?

Travel Info
I just got a nice job in Arlington VA. I want a one bedroom or a studio in the area possibly on the NW side or the VA side not too far from DC downtown. The place should be accessible by Metro. I have looked around the area but cannot find anything below 700 bucks. Looking to move asap. Any feedback would be appreciated.

Travel Tips
There are a few studios without kitchens for 700 or less in Dupont. Aside from that I don't know. Check http://washingtondc.craigslist.org/apa/... and screen the prospects well. Source(s): Former DC resident.
Other Travel Tips
Below $700? Sorry to be the one to break it to you, but GOOD LUCK. Not in those areas. You won't be able to find an apartment in those areas for under $1,000, well, not one worth living in. The cost of living in DC is astronomical. Welcome!!
yea, i dont think you're going to find a place for 700, 1,000 yes but not 700
